UK-based market data solutions vendor Mighter Ltd. has entered a merger agreement with Gissing Consulting, to form a new company, Mighter Gissing Software (MGS).
The new company will develop and market solutions which will enable investment banks to distribute their financial market data, such as news, real-time prices, broker research and corporate actions data, to information providers including Reuters, Bloomberg, Telekurs and Thomson Financial, via the Internet.
MGS is reporting that it has won several contracts with major financial institutions and vendors for its main product, ConteX MCS.
The merged group plans to expand its business into North America and Asia.
