Brazilian bank Unibanco has selected technology from Trintech to secure its recently launched 'NumClique' online payment service.
The NumClique wallet provides the bank's 5.8 million cardholders with access to online services such as bank statements, credit limits and payment of bills. Carholders can update information once through the NumClique wallet and that information is passed to other Unibanco systems.
Trintech's PayWare eIssuer solution has been deployed to enable secure online purchases transacted using the wallet. The solution, which has been integrated with the bank's card management system, protects the user's identity with password protection, encryption and compliance with card organisations' standards.
