WestLB Panmure is to implement Sybase's Enterprise Portal as part of an initiative to provide a global Web interface for employees and clients.
The German asset manager plans to use the Sybase Portal technology to supply its employees, corporate and investor clients with a single point of access to a portfolio of information and services through multiple channels
Sybase consultants have already been working with WestLB Panmure on the first portal product. This has included developing a fully functioning prototype, integrating third party data such as real-time news and price feeds, integrating existing applications and content contribution and management. Other portal-specific product will follow, says the firm, followed by integration with emerging channels such as wireless enterprise services.
