Using the new product, open-outcry exchange traders can now be equipped with custom-built turret functionality, which allows them to reach their clients from their position on the trading floor.

Jim Kern, vice president and general manager, trading systems at Syntegra, says: "Smaller, and more compact than other Syntegra turret models, the pV205Hi is an ideal choice for installation in the trading booth where space is always at a premium. With the turret functionality allowing access to 1000 speed dial numbers and lines, the pV205Hi will enable fast access to clients in busy market conditions, drastically improving the service exchange traders are able to offer."

The turret is eight inches high, just over nine inches wide, less than two inches deep, and can be wall-mounted. The pV205Hi is compatible with the full ITS desktop portfolio, enabling matching speaker and intercom modules to be firmly attached. It will run ITS software from Release 13 onward and incorporates the MegaLink interface, which provides a direct connection from the central equipment room to the desktop, without the need for an under-desk hub.

The company will also be showcasing its next generation computer telephony integration (CTI) offering, ITS Myriad, with newly incorporated video conferencing technology from Avistar.
