The mobile device fits into the palm of the hand and allows users to perform transactions via US Wireless Data's inter-carrier network from anywhere in the country. When users enter a non-coverage area, they can choose to perform the transactions off-line, still swiping the credit card, but storing the transaction data in the terminal. When they move back within Wireless Data's footprint, they can then forward the stored transactions.

Manufactured by Thales e-Transactions, the handheld device is battery-operated and comes with an integrated thermal printer for easy receipt delivery and operation. Each terminal is also equipped with a base unit that provides the ability to perform dialup downloads and acts as a charging station for the battery.
