Latin America-based chemical materials company Rohm and Haas has adopted Citibank's B2B e-commerce solution to enable customers to order products, track order status, and consult invoices and accounts payable over the Web.
Using CitiCommerce.com, the company's customers will be able to support their sales processes, distribution networks, delivery tracking, ordering, invoicing and collection systems.
In the initial stage of the process, Rohm and Haas is using portions of the CitiCommerce.com solution to automate and integrate its sales, distribution and financial network among its customers, sales representatives and distributors. In later stages, the company intends to add Citibank's Internet-based financing and credit solutions.
Guillermo Novo, vice president of Rohm and Haas, and regional director for Latin America, says: "This solution will help Rohm and Haas pursue additional, significant opportunities for growth, and improve our existing sales and distribution services. In addition, we expect to improve our overall efficiency in delivering our products to our customers in Brazil and throughout the region."
The service will initially be made available to existing customers in Brazil, and will then be rolled out more broadly throughout the region.
