Citibank e-Business, a division of Citigroup, has launched its commercial cards procurement platform in Europe.
The global platform supports travel and expense (T&E) and purchasing cards, while offering companies embedded electronic procurement, information delivery, reporting and card management solutions, as well as traditional corporate payment solutions.
Corporations using the service will be able to issue multiple currency card solutions that aid compliance with local governmental regulations, and provide local language support and customer service, says the bank.
Bud Moore, European accounting executive, Ford Corporation, says his company selected Citi to provide corporate T&E cards to its 20,000 corporate card holders. "Leveraging Citibank's global infrastructure and experience will provide Ford the corporate payment tool we require to feed our global expense management programme," he says.
