UK online car sales company eCarDivision is reporting a fourfold sales increase in the space of three months since using Barclays' electronic marketplace service BarclaysB2B.
Using BarclaysB2B, companies type in their procurement requirements and seach across thousands of products and services in one location.
eCarDivision says the service has enabled the company to significantly widen its potential customer base. Turnover has increased from £2.5 million to £6 million, with volume of sales increasing from 10-15 orders per month to 40-50 orders per month. The value of sales has risen from £250,000 per month to £1,000,000 per month and continues to grow, reports the company.
This increase in sales has also led to a second office opening in Scotland and the doubling of staffing levels at the main London office during the past two months.
