London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (Liffe) has appointed Chinh Chu, of The Blackstone Group, to the board in place of Richard Sandor.
Sandor will continue as a director on the board of NQLX, Liffe's joint venture with the Nasdaq Stock Market.
The London futures market is currently being courted for take-over by a number of rival exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange, Euronext, Nasdaq and the Chicago futures exchanges.
