Bank of Attica has chosen software from Switzerland-based Temenos as the foundation for its banking operations throughout Greece.
The bank will implement modules from Temenos' Globus software suite to cover core system, teller, fund transfers and standing orders, Swift interface, commercial loans and deposits, mortgages, collateral management, payments due, miscellaneous deals, foreign exchange, money market, securities and portfolio management, repos, management information systems and image management.
Bank of Attica says it was looking for a system that would provide a full range of functionality across all banking segments, and the capability to add new products and branches as required.
The system is scheduled to go live in the first quarter of 2002.
