MMC has established an emergency call center at our headquarters building in midtown Manhattan. The call centre number - for emergency inquiries only - is 212-345-6000.
All MMC operating company employees working at the World Trade Centre should contact this number IMMEDIATELY - even if they are travelling or on vacation.
As of September 13, at 3 PM EDT, we have had reports that approximately 1300 of our MMC colleagues are safe. MMC has been checking - and rechecking - sources of information about the status of MMC employees who worked at the World Trade Centre. One source - the Crisis Center hosted at the New School - offers a consolidated list of individuals treated and/or admitted by New York and New Jersey hospitals since September 11, 2001. Inquiries are welcomed on site; phone calls will not be accepted. The New School is located at 66 West 12th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues) in Manhattan.
MMC representatives have paid several visits to the New School Crisis Center, as well as to a number of area hospitals to meet with family and friends of MMC employees.
