Dublin-based Fineos is to partner with data mining company smartFocus to deliver an analytical customer relationship management solution for financial services firms.
The agreement calls for the integration of smartFocus's Viper Intelligent Marketing CRM solution with the Fineos enterprise CRM solution. It will combine smartFocus's expertise in delivering analysis, visualisation and data mining for marketing with Fineos's core CRM functionality.
SmartFocus won through a competitive tender because of the Viper system's ease of integration and support for high data volumes, says Donal McCarthy, business development director for Fineos.
"This is an important alliance for Fineos," he says. "SmartFocus offers excellent data analysis, visualisation and data mining technology coupled with good experience in the banking and insurance sectors."
SmartFocus lists Lloyds TSB and Zurich Financial Services among its 300 customers.
McCarthy says the integrated solution set will be unveiled for the first time at a joint seminar on 18 September at the Belfry, near Birmingham.
