Syntegra and AlterEgo to provide wireless trading solutions

08 August 2001  |  2925 views  |  0 Syntegra and AlterEgo to provide wireless trading solutions

Syntegra is to provide wireless access to trading applications through a global reseller agreement with AlterEgo Networks.

Under the agreement, Syntegra will utilise AlterEgo Mobile Web Server to deliver its ITS Myriad applications to any wireless device or desktop platform. The technology enables information to be customised for ease-of-display over each specific device.

"More than a billion new Internet access devices - both wired and wireless - will be in use in the next five years, and the diversity in types of devices available will only continue to proliferate," says Tony Gasson, European vice president of AlterEgo. "AlterEgo's relationship with Syntegra cuts through this complexity, giving financial services firms a futureproof infrastructure that can work on GSM, GPRS, UMTS and all existing, emerging and future networks."
