Canadian bank Scotiabank has added a range of mortgage features to its online banking service.
Residential mortgage customers can now make prepayments to their mortgage, change payment frequency to monthly, bi-weekly or weekly, increase regular principal and interest payments and tax payment amounts.
Alberta Cefis, senior vice president, retail lending services, says: "By offering these mortgage features online, customers can perform routine mortgage transactions when it's convenient for them, 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
