DCE is a dedicated company set up by JPMC to pioneer the bank's ambitious in the digital banking space. It includes design planning, user research, experience design teams as well as the supporting functions for systems and development.

In addition, the bank is forming a new group within DCE called Chase Edge, focused on the "pioneering experience/technology/business model innovation" that will catapult the bank into a leadership position in digital banking.

The new recruit will take on the leadership of Chase Edge with a brief to build and lead a team charged with creating new business model prototypes over a three-year planning horizon.

With a focus on Chase's consumer banking business, the team will be expected to conceive, design, and prototype a minimum of three innovation projects per year, build stakeholder support within the wider bank and go to market with at least 50% of projects within a one-to-three year timeframe.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15+ years of experience as a successful technology centric innovator and team leader in industries/roles directly related to Chase's banking business.

Says the job ad: "In addition we are seeking a candidate who is well connected, to the institutions, startups, and large companies that collectively represent the context for next generation experience innovation."
