Finextra is to move from a virtual backstage presence at this year's Swift international banking conference, to a live interactive studio at the heart of the Sibos 2010 exhibition floor in Amsterdam.
As the official online news provider for the Sibos exhibition hall, the move to the floor will put Finextra at the centre of the action for the 200+ exhibitors attending the week-long event.
Finextra's 50 square metres booth at Stand number A519 in the Amsterdam RAI will host a reception and meeting room plus a professional photographic and video studio.
Finextra first partnered with financial network Swift in 2003 to launch Finextra@Sibos, a special purpose financial technology news site designed to keep conference-goers up-to-speed with news and views direct from the conference and exhibition floor. Finextra@Sibos is integrated into MySibos, Swift's online networking tool, and freely available live on the Web to Finextra's 28,500+ subscribers and 135,000 regular visitors.
For this year's event, Finextra@Sibos will comprise the usual mix of incisive reporting, industry comment, and user-generated blogs and photos. To coincide with our first appearance on the exhibition floor, Finextra is also planning to introduce an exciting new suite of leading edge multimedia and Web 2.0 content via a revamped Web presence which will be unveiled closer to the event.
