Rusfinance Bank rolls out TietoEnator credit card technology

Nordic IT firm TietoEnator says Rusfinance Bank, a Russia-based subsidiary of French banking group Société Générale, has implemented its credit card issuing and acquiring technology.

The vendor says its Card Suite - which has been supplied to the bank by its banking and insurance unit - will streamline Rusfinance's credit card operations and enable the bank to effectively manage card issuing, acquiring and processing operations.

TietoEnator says the technology will enable the bank - which specialises in consumer crediting - to offer its clients an efficient tool for "consumer crediting and revolving credit cards".

Dmitry Lenshin, general director of TietoEnator's banking and insurance unit it Russia, says: "Through the use of its Card Suite solution, the bank will be able to offer innovative products and services at the forefront of modern market trends."
