Nordic IT services group TietoEnator has implemented a card issuing system for the Latvian Trade Bank.
The Latvian bank, a subsidiary of Russian commercial bank MDM, will use the network to issue international Maestro debit cards, MasterCard Standard, Gold and Virtual credit cards, as well as chip-enabled smart cards.
TietoEnator says the infrastructure is in compliance with international payment standards.
