Polchin was most recently CFO at Virginia-based Convera Corporation, a provider of vertical search services for publishers. Prior to this he served as CFO at electronic banking and bill payment firm InteliData Technologies, which was acquired by Corillian Corporation in 2005.

In his new role Polchin will be responsible for directing all aspects of the vendor's financial management. He will report to Goldleaf CEO Lynn Boggs.

Polchin replaces J Scott Craighead who resigned earlier this month. Craighead stepped down shortly after the release of Goldleaf's second quarter results, which came in below market expectations.
