Gresham Computing hires Gary Gibbs to drive growth in North America

UK software house Gresham Computing has appointed Gary Gibbs to drive the company's growth activities in the North America banking and corporate markets. He will be based at the vendor's new regional headquarters in New York.

Gibbs has been appointed executive vice president for North America and will spearhead Gresham's growth activities in the region. He also assumes management responsibility for each of the vendor's North American subsidiaries, as well as the Gresham Enterprise Storage and Redstone Software subsidiaries.

Most recently Gibbs was managing partner for global sales and marketing with Expand Consulting, a capital markets and wealth management research consultancy based in London and New York.

Prior to this he was vice president of the banking group at CheckFree Software, executive vice president of Accurate Software in North America and was vice president of sales for North America at Maryland-based Merant, a provider of enterprise software development technologies.

Gresham currently has operations in key technology centres in Toronto, Austin and Denver. The vendor has opened a new regional headquarters in New York, which it says will be the hub to serve the needs of its banking customers and to support the company's expansion.
