Banco Paris, a Chilean financial institution established in 2004, has contracted with NCR-subsidiary Teradata for the implementation of an enterprise data warehouse.
Teradata's says the bank is implementing its datawarehousing technology to manage increasing volumes of customer information. Following strong growth in customer acquisitions, Banco Paris decided to integrate the management of its business by implementing a single data warehouse.
The Teradata system will be used to consolidate disparate databases across the enterprise onto a single platform.
Luis Gatica Lopez, manager of operations and technology, Banco Paris, says: "By consolidating customer data into a single warehouse, we create a single view of the business that we can use for marketing campaigns, cross-selling, risk management, transaction management or other initiatives."
