US-based Citizens Bank is rolling out Getronics' Web-based retail banking software, Globalfs, across its 1500+ branches.
Commenting on the implementation, William Wray, group EVP and CIO, Citizens Bank, says: "We needed a system that was easy for tellers to learn and to work with, and easy to change when we needed to do so."
Netherlands-based Getronics says its Globalfs software fits with the bank's Web services-based architecture, ensuring integration with existing and new capabilities.
Citizens Bank says Getronics is also rolling out a common hardware system across the 700 Charter One branches it acquired in May last year.
