Commerce Bancshares, which chose Globalfs over products from eight different vendors, is rolling the software out to over 1000 teller stations.

The bank says Globalfs will provide it with the flexibility to serve retail, small business and corporate customers in its branches.

The product uses XML and Web services technology and provides centralised server configuration and off-network processing.

Charles Kim, executive vice president of retail banking, Commerce Bancshares, says: "Once the system is installed, we'll have the ability to update it to meet evolving customer and market requirements."
