Dubai Bank has deployed Massachusetts-based Datawatch Corporation's report mining and data analysis technology, Monarch Pro.
Datawatch says Monarch Pro will be used by the bank to import, analyse and combine reports and data from sources such as database, spreadsheets and HTML files. The product enables users to sort, filter, summarise and graph report data from disparate systems and export information to applications such as Excel and Access.
Rob Graham, Datawatch product manager for Europe and the Middle East, says there has never been a more important time for organisations to control over data in order to meet the changed compliance objectives resulting from Enron, Sarbanes-Oxley and Basel II.
