Newly established Dubai Bank has gone live with CR2's BankWorld ATM solution.
The system will allow the bank to issue local and internationally branded debit cards and accept cards at its ATMs.
Ahmed Bin Brek, CEO, Dubai Bank, says the CR2 solution was chosen due to its ability to interface with the bank's core banking system from Misys.
Cian Kinsella, CEO, CR2, adds that the bank, which was established this year, has made significant plans to be one of the prime movers in the UAE and Middle East financial sector. "Technology will be a strong enabler in the bank's path forward as customers in the Middle East seek more sophisticated banking services," adds Kinsella.
CR2 says it now has more than 50 financial institutions as customers in the Middle East, including 10 in the United Arab Emirates.
