Under the agreement, IPC will manage all components of Tullett Liberty's telecom and network requirements including servicing of trader voice lines, inbound telephony and mobile services and phones.

IPC will also assume responsibility for hosting the LAN server environment and will monitor all trading communications, including the turrets and other devices, back office switches and network services, from its centre in Sydney.

The vendor is also deploying its Net Access service to provide automatic backup connectivity.

Luke Barnett, IT manager, Tullett Liberty in Sydney, says: "We felt that only a company focused on technology and service specific to our industry could meet our demanding quality of service criteria."
