Maduro & Curiel's Bank (MCB), the largest commercial bank in the Dutch Caribbean, has signed a five-year card processing deal with Processing Center (Procesa), a joint venture company formed by First Data and Banco General.
First Data has worked with MCB for more than 15 years providing complete merchant processing services including authorisations, settlement, interchange management, association compliance, chargeback processing and funding services for approximately 3000 merchants from the bank's portfolio.
Procesa's operations centre is located in Panama City, Panama. Established in December last year, it uses First Data's VisionPlus transaction processing platform to provide a range of payment services for credit, pre-paid, gift and corporate cards.
