Canada's Greystone Managed Investments has rolled out the latest version of Charles River Development's investment management system (IMS) to support its fixed income, equities and asset management operations.
Greystone has installed the complete Charles River IMS package - which includes the vendor's portfolio and order management applications and compliance monitoring software - to replace its existing portfolio management system.
Charles River says IMS has provided an electronic interface to Greystone's portfolio accounting systems and improved the firm's automated pre-trade and portfolio-level compliance capabilities.
Elaine Bourassa, chief financial officer at Greystone Managed Investments, says: "Charles River IMS met our needs and, by eliminating bottlenecks, will substantially improve our compliance operations, streamline our trade and settlement processes, and support our continuing rapid business expansion."
