FNX hires Finn Christensen to head up Aspen Hedge division; signs first three clients

Philadelphia-based trading technology vendor FNX Limited, has appointed Finn Christensen as executive managing director of its new ASP-based hedge fund services division, Aspen Hedge, and announced its first three customers - Henderson Global Investors (HGI), Greenwich Capital and Luminary Capital.

Christensen joins FNX from IQ Financial Systems where he was vice president and global head of sales.

Prior to this he was vice president of sales and business development at DataSynapse. He was also global head of marketing and managing director of Asia Pacific for C-ATS Software, a publicly held trading and risk management provider, which was acquired by Misys.

Christensen also served as a principal and director of risk management and derivatives trading systems at Fusion Systems Group in New York.

Aspen Hedge is accessed through the Internet and is designed to support all products traded by a hedge fund, from foreign exchange and equities to exotic options, fixed income and derivatives.
