Ohio-based Charter One Financial has licensed Fiserv's UniFi PRO Mortgage eX loan origination and processing software to automate lending operations at its mortgage subsidiary.
Fiserv says its UniFi PRO Mortgage eX platform increases the efficiency of origination processes, from 'what-if' scenarios through to approval, underwriting, closing and post closing.
The platform has a range of deployment options - including browser-based, laptop-enabled or concurrent client/server - to support Charter One loan originators.
The bank will also use the vendor's middleware product, PRO Link Plus, to integrate the UniFi PRO Mortgage eX platform with third-party, Internet-based retail and wholesale origination systems.
