HSBC Bank USA is implementing Fiserv's loan servicing platform, MortgageServ, to support home loan and equity line processing at its Mortgage Corporation subsidiary.
The browser-based platform will be used to service all the firm's equity products and mortgage accounts.
Sadu Thinakal, president, Fiserv Mortgage Servicing Systems, says the system updates data in real time, providing users with access to up-to-the-minute account information via the Web.
Thinakal says real time updating can improve service delivery from remote call centres, voice response systems and Internet self-service channels.
