Tullett Financial Information is using technology from London-based Arcontech to develop a Web-based market data distribution platform, to be launched later this year.
Tullett Financial is installing Archontech's StarNet software, which is based on the vendor's CityVision RTP middleware technology, at its offices in New York and London.
The new data distribution system will use Arcontech's Java displays to provide access to Tullett Financial's services, including SwapMarker and MortgageMarker.
Customers will be able to implement Arcontech's CityVision Excelerator, which distributes real-time data directly into Excel spreadsheets. Users will also be able to copy, drag and drop blocks of data into Excel. An add-in, developed by Arcontech for Tullett Financial, then populates the spreadsheet with the underlying record and field definitions and updates them in real-time.
The vendor has also developed a handler for Tullett Financial's Surf data feed which receives information in page and logical record form and distributes it to end-users via the CityVision middleware.
London-based Arcontech says CityVision components will allow Tullett Financial's institutional clients and Web vendor redistributors to integrate data into products and corporate intranets.
