LineData Services has interfaced its LongView Trading System with State Street's multi-bank foreign exchange dealing system, FX Connect.
FX Connect is available via Global Link, State Street's research and trading platform for institutional investors.
LineData says the new interface eliminates the need for re-keying of trade information and improves workflow.
Annie Morris, senior vice president, Linedata Services, adds: "We have already automated electronic trading in the fixed income and equity markets, now our clients have direct access to the foreign exchange market through the bank of their choice."
