Muratore takes over at Investment Support Systems following a four-year stint in charge of Availability Services and Other Businesses at SunGard.

His appointment comes as David Robinson, executive vice president of SunGard responsible for the 'buy-side' division of Investment Support Systems, steps down after 34 years with the company and a predecessor firm. Robinson joined SunGard in 1983, when the predecessor firm, now named SunGard Investment Systems, became one of the four businesses comprising the leveraged buy-out that created SunGard.
