The deal enables ING Bank Slaski's 1.4 million cardholders to use Euronet's 450 ATMs in Poland, in addition to the bank's existing 553 cash machines.

Transactions initiated at Euronet's ATMs will be switched directly to the bank for authorisation and settlement. The bank will pay the vendor a fixed fee per transaction.

Marian Czakanski, management board president, ING Bank Slaski, says the bank's main aim is to provide integrated financial services: "To achieve this objective we look for business partners that provide modern technology and expansion of distribution channels."

ING is the twelfth bank to join Euronet's ATM network in Poland.
