Swiss banking systems vendor Temenos has won a US$13 million contract with Russian retail bank Menatep St Petersburg for its integrated banking platform T24.
The bank will implement the platform on an Oracle XML database running on HP hardware to support its domestic retail banking operations.
Temenos officially launched T24, which is an upgrade of its Globus platform, in September. The real-time system features the same functions of Globus but removes the need for end of day processing
Andrew Ruffell, Temoeno' general director, Russian Federation, CIS & Baltic States, says: "Menatep St Petersburg's high growth, high volume scenario is just the kind of business Temenos T24 was designed to support."
