The Temenos platform will replace Standard Chartered Grindlays's existing legacy systems.

The bank will use the system in conjunction Finantix's OneWealth software.

Temenos is due to launch T24 - an upgrade of its Globus platform - in September. The system features the same functions of Globus - including private, retail and corporate banking, treasury and asset management modules - but removes the the need for end of day processing.

George Koukis, chairman of Temenos, says the system will help the bank reduce core system processing costs significantly.

The Jersey implementation of T24 is the first stage of a potential roll out to other offshore centres.
