CheckFree Financial and Compliance Solutions (CFACS) has appointed David Pheasant as sales director for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
Pheasant will be based at the vendor's new office in London.
He joins CFACS from the eProcess Intelligence division of SunGard Data Systems, where he was executive VP and general manager responsible for global sales of securities, treasury, payments and exception management software for straight-through processing (STP).
CFACS says the appointment is a key part of its strategy to build on its existing European customer base for its Recon-Plus Frontier reconciliation solution.
Last week, SunGard EPI acquired joint intellectual property rights to CheckFree's Recon Plus for Windows source code, which it currently distributes and markets as intelliMatch.
