CheckFree Financial and Compliance Solutions (CFACS) has appointed straight-through processing (STP) specialist Martin Pearce as executive director of business development.
CFACS says Pearce, who spent the majority of his career working for London-based financial institutions, brings expertise in the implementation of global STP programmes within the securities industry. Pearce is currently a co-chair of the US Omgeo advisory board and active participant in ISITC.
Pearce was previously at Massachusetts Financial Services Management Investments, where he led the firm's STP initiative.
He also worked at Morgan Stanley Asset Management's (MSAM) London offices for ten years, managing various groups including trade processing and database management. For the last three years of his tenure, Pearce was responsible for spearheading the organisation's global STP programme across offices in London, New York, Singapore and Tokyo.
