Right now, we all know that non-fungible tokens are taking over the digital world by storm. Ever since its inception in the world, everything is changed. Now, everyone wants to own an NFT. This has become a symbol of profit in the digital world. NFTs ranging from prices such millions of dollars to hundreds of dollars, NFTs are being bought at a rapid rate. It is estimated that more than $22billion dollars in revenue were grossed in the previous year by just selling and buying NFTs. Like every other digital phenomenon, the concept of NFT was welcomed with open hands, but as time went by, it became quite hard for everyone to enjoy the effectiveness of this technology.
It is a well-known fact that NFTs are bought by cryptocurrencies. Like NFTs reaching great heights, cryptocurrencies are reaching great heights as well. There is a wide range of cryptocurrencies in this digital world, and it is quite hard to get them and start trading for NFTs. In order to overcome this issue and help users to have a fantastic experience in the NFT space, Mastercard has devised a new plan.
Mastercard is planning to enable the purchase of NFTs with credit/debit cards. To be more precise, fiat cash is directly used to buy the NFTs. Regardless of this impressive initiative, access is provided to only certain NFT marketplaces like Immutable X, The Sandbox, Candy Digital, Mintable, Nifty Gateway, and MoonPay. So if users plan to go along with the Mastercard’s new way of purchasing NFTs, they have to visit only these above-mentioned marketplaces. But, Mastercard is still working on expanding this system to even more marketplaces and allowing the user the power to trade NFTs with the money they have in their bank account.
