Entrepreneurs- Here’s the Best Method to Build Strong Connections!

When you ask the business tycoons their success secret- it’s for sure that the answer would be connections! Whether you talk about potential business alliances, marketing, sales, supply chain management or anything- connections is the core of business growth. The connections open new doors to business, informs about the upcoming opportunities and help in solving business problems in one or another way.

If you are an extrovert, it’s not a big deal for you! But, it can be a daunting task if you are introvert kind of person. Anyway, no matter what type of nature you have, here is a ‘tried and applied’ method of building connections:

Be Choosy

Making connections does not mean get connected with anyone. You should plan wisely! Determine what type of people or businesses you should link to, how they will help to grow your business, and what are the best way to connect them. I always prefer linking with people with similar taste, profession, passion, background, etc. This offer you a topic to start a meaningful conversation and continue it throughout.

Come up with a Strategy

Nowadays, businessmen are using different ways to connect people- they attend events related to their business and brand, they go for local media, they use social networking platforms, they hold local-meet up and much more. Make a strategy that will suit your business needs.

Be a great host/hostess

Organizing meetings and parties is again a nice way to reach different people. But, keep in mind, organizing a meeting or party is futile if you do not use it to build connections. And the best way to do so is to become a great host/hostess. When you walk to every person or group and try to make them comfortable, they will also respond with equal intensity, and you can, thereafter, cook something productive. Same rule applies for connections build via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

Make a real connection

Your job does not end at exchanging business cards or getting connected at social platforms! To build a long term business relationship, it is must to develop it at personal level, which means face to face communication, spending time together, etc.

Stay Available at Social Networks

Thanks to social networking sites, it is so easy to build contacts and connections these days. But, what’s the use of an account least used? People will surely forget you soon! To remain in their mind, their thoughts, stay available. Use social networking platforms too often, update information, share useful things, congratulate people on their achievements, and connect to new faces.

You might not believe me, but almost every entrepreneur is on Twitter these days! No matter how hectic the day is, they find at least 10 minutes each day to check their Twitter feeds and participate in conversations, and this way frame a greater impression over other.

Help others in their success

There’s a great old notion that if you help people, they will also help you (or atleast remember you whenever in need)! So, help others with pure mind and heart. Assist them to set new goals, plan milestones and achieve success. Guide them throughout. Be sincere and caring. Inspire them & build trustable relationship. Helping others is the trait of a leader!

So, apply these tricks and even hunt for more & build a strong connection network. Master the skill of networking, and give new wings to your business!
