PwC research shows more than a quarter of UK companies do not have a disaster recovery plan and half of these have not been tested.
92% of companies surveyed believe that disaster recovery is "an important driver" of their IT spending, but over half haven't quite got around to planning or testing their plan regularly.
Well - disaster is my middle name so I can speak from experience here - testing a plan is vital. It may also transpire that the disaster was not the one you were anticipating, in which case have a plan B. Expect the worst - a disaster of Terminal 5 magnitude.
