The Netherlands-based company, specialising in unattended contactless payment terminals, is actively expanding their teams across the UK, Europe and the USA in response to significant growth in sales and reputation.

Ryan Philo, CPO of Payter, brings over 25 years of experience in the UK and European payments industry. As CTO, and ultimately CPO, at Optomany Limited, Ryan oversaw the development of the innovative Omni-Channel Managed Payment Processing products and services.

On joining the Payter team, Ryan says:

“I'm delighted to have joined the amazing team at Payter as Chief Product Officer. It's a privilege to have this opportunity to build the Product team and together take the already impressive suite of products and services and propel them to new heights to delight our customers.

It's extremely exciting to be part of the Payter journey at this key phase of the organisation’s growth. Already leaders in the unattended space, Payter have a very bright future ahead and one that I’m looking forward to playing a part in.”

Jack Driessen, CFO of Payter, joins the senior leadership team with 12 years of experience in Finance. Jack steps into his role at Payter from De Heus, the largest animal nutrition company in Europe, where he assumed the roles of CFO of the Egyptian joint venture and Area Manager of East Africa within the Koudijs brand. He started his career at Rabobank where he had several investment banking roles.

Jack shares his thoughts on starting his new role at Payter:

“I am thrilled to be part of Payter because it is a company that you see everywhere when you take notice, and it is mind-blowing when you realise how many transactions are done on a daily basis through our terminals.

The company is driven by making things work well. This is evident not only by the way consumers can pay with just one short tap through our systems but also by giving our vendors the tools to monitor their terminals remotely. Payter is constantly making small improvements that make a big difference for the end-users, this drive resonates with me and I am looking forward to also contributing to this team effort.”

Remco Willemse, CEO of Payter, adds his thoughts on Ryan and Jack coming on board:

“Allowing Ryan to impart his many years of experience to the Payter Product team will undoubtedly launch our products and services to an even higher standard of quality. We are also confident that, with all of Jack’s expertise, he will take the helm of our Finance department and steer us toward a successful future.

This is an exciting time for Payter as we continue to expand across the board. So early in 2024, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many talented and enthusiastic team members as well as opening up new opportunities globally.”
