Howard Travers moves from Parlano to Formicary

Formicary Ltd, an IT consultancy firm specialising in providing solutions for the Financial Services industry, today announced the appointment of Howard Travers as Business Development Manager. Howard will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with a strong focus on expanding Formicary’s Intelligent Messaging Group.
Howard has joined Formicary from one of its main partners, Parlano Inc., a leading provider of persistent group messaging solutions. As International Account Manager he helped develop, expand and manage Parlano's MindAlign accounts for some of the world's leading top tier investment banks.
Prior to Parlano, Howard held a Sales Manager position at Divine Inc., where he was responsible for front line strategic management and new business sales. He has also held Sales and Account Manager roles at a number of software companies providing solutions to the Banking and Finance Industry.
Howard's new position is seen as a logical step forward from his role at Parlano, utilising his client focussed experience along with his extensive knowledge of software and messaging applications. This industry awareness coupled with Formicary's existing technical expertise will enable the Formicary Intelligent Messaging team to offer business consultancy services to help clients gain an overall awareness of capabilities and advise on best practice, strategy and overall direction.
