An attorney with nearly three decades of overseeing regulatory compliance for major financial firms like Nordea Bank, SEB, and PwC Legal, Kähari will lead the team that handles compliance and maintains relationships with regulators for FintechX and its Kriptomat cryptocurrency platform.

“I am inspired by the promise of cryptocurrency and fintech,” Kähari said. “I look forward to helping Kriptomat achieve its goal of delivering the benefits of digital currency and crypto investing to users in Europe and around the world.”

FintechX is uniquely committed to protecting customers and improving service through meticulous compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.

“When people think of Kriptomat, they think of safety, security, and simplicity,” said Dejan Davidović, chief operating and integrity officer of FintechX. “Others may see regulatory compliance as a nuisance. We welcome it as a competitive advantage. Customers know we are committed to doing things responsibly.”

“With Kriptomat, FintechX has built a culture of compliance as a regulatory white knight,” Kähari said. “We are setting an example for other crypto and fintech firms to match our commitment to keeping customer funds safe and secure.”

“We’re proud to be an Estonian company,” Davidović said, “and regulation is one of the reasons. An early leader in welcoming crypto companies, Estonia has recently cleaned up and strengthened the market with regulatory changes. Kriptomat is committed to remaining the leading crypto platform with headquarters in Estonia.”
