iBIZ Software Inc., a leading provider of payer authentication solutions, today announced its expansion of the executive management team with the appointment of Marcel Bruck to vice president of sales. Further enhancing its already strong market presence in Europe, Mr. Bruck will be operating from the new iBIZ Software office location in Munich Germany and will be in charge of the expanding direct and channel sales operations of the company's 3-D Secure compliant solutions.
3-D Secure is a technology aimed at combating online payment fraud and is promoted by Visa, MasterCard and JCB as Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and J/Secure, respectfully. iBIZ Software is a leading vendor in this area with successful implementations in the USA, the EU, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Before joining iBIZ, Marcel Bruck served as international sales director of industry & government with Giesecke & Deviant (G&D), a leading edge, global technology company. At G&D, Marcel established new markets, expanded existing channels, was directly involved in the successful rollout of new products in new markets and was responsible for a total annual sales quota of over 30 Million Euros.
Mr. Bruck, a native of Uruguay, holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Technion University in Haifa, Israel as well as a Financial and Marketing post-graduate degree from University of Barcelona, Spain. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Bruck has held a number of managerial positions in the card division of G&D. Mr. Bruck started with G&D in Spain, was then relocated to Argentina and then to Germany in order to develop the sales networks in each region. Along the way, Mr. Bruck was selected by the European Commission to join the Executive Training Program in Japan, where he stayed for 2 years. During the last 4 years Marcel Bruck had been working in the G&D headquarters in Munich, Germany developing international business opportunities and channels, mostly in Latin America and Asia. Having made his home in each of these placements, Mr. Bruck is fluent in Spanish, English, German, Portuguese, Hebrew and Japanese.
