Oliver Wyman's Sean Cory to join Qred as chairman

Swedish fintech company Qred has elected Sean Cory to become Chairman of the board for the company.

Cory is currently working as Managing Partner Northern Europe at Oliver Wyman. He succeeds Mattias Carlsson, who has had the position since 2017 and is now moving on to new assignments.

Since its beginning in 2015, Qred has become the market leader within SME financing in the Nordic region and also expanded its operations to the Netherlands and Belgium. With easy and flexible financing for SMEs Qred has helped more than 25,000 companies. Last year, Qred’s valuation exceeded SEK 1 billion and recently reached a milestone of having lent out more than SEK 5 billion. Now, Sean Cory joins the board of the company as chairman.
