Jessica Holzbach, Co-Founder of Penta, the leading digital bank for business clients, will leave the company's management team as of April 30th, 2021, after more than four years.

She will pursue a new professional challenge outside Penta, but will stay involved in the company. Holzbach founded Penta with other partners in Berlin in 2017. She has been significantly involved in the company's success and has been responsible for numerous innovations in the field of digital banking for business clients. Most recently, Holzbach was Chief Customer Officer on the management board of the Berlin-based digital bank, responsible for marketing, business development and customer relationship management.

Jessica Holzbach is leaving the company at her own request to seek a new professional challenge. Penta's management team regrets the decision, and thanks the Co-Founder for the establishment work and the successful development of the company.

Markus Pertlwieser, CEO of Penta: "Penta owes great successes to Jessica. She has been crucial in shaping the history of the company and has been a strong driver of its growth. On behalf of the management, Penta's employees and investors, I would like to thank Jessica for her many years of work and great passion for Penta. We are pleased that she will stay connected to the company and wish her all the best for her future career."

Jessica Holzbach looks back and into the future: "The last years with Penta have been a great challenge and to see how we as a team, have simplified banking for SMEs makes me immensely proud as Co-Founder. It has been a great pleasure to work on Penta's mission, and I'm sure that the foundation for Penta's further growth and great success in the market has been laid."
