Options Clearing Corporation appoints Bryce Engel to board of directors

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) announced today the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors.

The newly appointed Director is Bryce B. Engel, Executive Vice President and Chief Brokerage Operations Officer of TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation.

Mr. Engel replaces John P. Davidson III, effective immediately. Mr. Davidson, Managing Director, Equity Infrastructure for Morgan Stanley, had been a member of the Board since 2001.

As Executive Vice President, Chief Brokerage Operations Office for TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation, Mr. Engel currently oversees TD Ameritrade's retail Client Service and Support, Institutional operations, Clearing operations as well as Capital Markets. Mr. Engel was previously Vice President and Managing Director of Clearing where he oversaw all clearing operations including order routing, processing and settlement. He has served in a variety of roles during his 10-year tenure at TD Ameritrade, including the leadership of call center operations and Ameritrade Clearing. Mr. Engel also played a lead role in the integrations of Datek Online Holdings Corporation and National Discount Brokers Corporation.

Mr. Engel graduated with a B.A. in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
