Following strong growth in 2020 and into this year, Vantage Point has appointed two strategic hires to meet client demand and further develop areas of exponential growth within the business.
Rich Celensu joins from Barclays as Head of Regulatory Services. Rich will lead the Practice, working with our clients and partners to continue delivering regulatory programmes to global banking, legal and reg tech clients. Rich joined Vantage Point at the beginning of 2021 with a key focus on delivering service excellence through creative, efficient and innovative solutions. With extensive experience in the financial industry, he has spent his career harnessing cross-functional expertise in the management of legal and regulatory operational teams, client management services, restructuring, strategy and change. A proven track record in building strong and effective relationships with significant knowledge in client outreach, remediation, documentation, operations and automation.
Ex-Deutsche Bank Chief of Staff, Anna Maltzoff, joins as Head of Junior Talent Programmes following a surge in financial institutions looking to outsource their programmes in operations and technology. Anna brings extensive experience of people strategy to Vantage Point and will oversee the evolution of the Junior Talent Programme Practice for Vantage Point. With a background in technology, Anna has held senior People Strategy focussed roles across a number of banks and more recently has been developing experiential learning programmes for corporates, business schools and academia.
Rich Celensu, Head of Regulatory Services:
“I’m delighted to be joining the Vantage Point team and becoming part of a dynamic and innovative organisation. The Vantage Point culture of taking a client-centric approach provides the opportunity to drive forward our Regulatory Services offering through effective client partnerships. We have a huge opportunity to build on the success of the last couple of years and I’m joining VP at a time of significant regulatory and governance reform in the FS market.”
Anna Maltzoff, Head of Junior Talent Programmes:
“I am thrilled to join the excellent leadership team at Vantage Point at this exciting time in the company’s journey, heading up the Junior Talent Programme Practice. Over the last few years, the UK and wider market has encountered incredible changes - stemming from the fallout from the credit crunch, disruptive changes in technology, tighter regulation, Brexit tension and of course the pandemic - all of which have made Financial Services leaner, tougher yet much more difficult for younger talent to access and navigate. I’m looking forward to supporting the next generation of leaders become the very best they can be."
James Brincat, CEO:
“The need to create these new roles demonstrate Vantage Point’s ongoing commitment to managing our growth whilst delivering excellence for existing and new clients. Rich and Anna bring a wealth of experience, bundles of energy and a passion for developing junior talent in the financial services sector. We’re delighted to welcome them onboard and I cannot wait to see what we can achieve together. It’s going to be an exciting year for Vantage Point”.
